Project Details
A Modern Tropical Style Early Childhood Development Center for an international school, spanning 3,200 sqft with an estimated project value of 15 million, is currently under development. The design is thoughtfully centered around the needs of young learners, emphasizing child-friendly spatial planning, flexible learning environments, and seamless connectivity between indoor classrooms and outdoor play areas. The layout promotes exploration, interaction, and comfort, while integrating passive climate strategies to ensure a naturally cool and well-ventilated environment throughout the year.
Architecturally, the project features a low-pitched mono-slope roof with generous overhangs, providing effective shading and protection from tropical weather conditions. The building showcases a strong visual identity through the interplay of exposed brick surfaces and expansive glazing, allowing abundant natural light while maintaining a warm, tactile aesthetic. This combination of functional design and modern tropical elements creates a nurturing, sustainable, and engaging learning environment for early childhood development.
